Commonly Required Information for Users FAQ
Modern operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OSX, and Linux have all the needed software for connecting to a variety of internet services as well as web browsers, email programs and more. You shouldn't normally require any additional software from your internet service provider to get connected if your computer is up to date and running well.
Mail Server Settings: Our email accounts require a small list of settings to be configured. You will need to specify your incoming mail server as a POP3 type server named "mail.fiber.net", your username and your password. Your outgoing mail server should be "mail.fiber.net" as well and you should mark the option "outgoing server requires authentication". It can use your same username and password for outgoing connections as incoming.
Much more information can be found according to account or service type in the FAQ sections following this one. If you don't find an answer here, please look for the specific type of service you need help with or simply contact our support team
