We offer many features on our Virtual Hosting platform. This also includes several things that can be auto-installed by a system called Installatron. This will install several popular packages that many people desire such as blogging software, bulletin board systems, and many popular shopping carts. Do you offer Windows hosting on a Virtual Hosting account?
Yes, we do! We offer Windows Core, Standard, and Premium virtual hosting accounts at an excellent price for all of your Windows-based applications.
Do you oversell Virtual Hosting accounts?
The short answer is yes, we do oversell these products. The very nature of Virtual Hosting means that there are many accounts for different users on each physical server. We do however gaurantee your services will be available and will perform to your satisfaction. We do not overload the servers themselves. We use sophisticated resource and performance monitoring to maintain the reliability and speed of our Virtual Hosting servers and to ensure that you will always enjoy great service.
Do you support custom cronjobs?
Yes. Custom cronjobs can be setup from the administration interface of your Virtual Hosting Account.
Cron jobs are system commands that can be scheduled. For example, if you wanted a CGI script to run every Monday morning, you could do this through the cron jobs menu.
How do I log into my site?
You can log into the Administration control panel by using http://yourdomain:2222. This will allow you to set up the basic services that you site might need. This would include all of the needed emails addresses and users that need access.
How do I use the administration interface (cPanel or Enkompass) for my virtual hosting account?
If you've purchased a Cloud Virtual Hosting or Cloud Reseller account, your administration interface is available through cPanel. Follow the link to take advantage of the extensive support materials offered by cPanel for its market-leading software.
If you've purchased a Windows Core, Windows Standard, or Windows Premium account, your administration interface is a Windows-only cPanel product called Enkompass. For exclusive Enkompass support, visit this link.
What if I delete a file or get hacked? Is there a backup of my account?
We do offer an automatic daily backup of your account. So if a file gets deleted accidentally, and you need it restored, you can get it from the following location:
In the Host Description field type the IP address sent to you in your welcome letter.
In the User Name field type the user name for your virtual hosting account.
In the Password field type the password for your virtual hosting account.
Once you are logged in, expand the disk safe and navigate to the file(s) you would like to restore. You can select individual files, or full folders, and you can select multiple at the same time. After you have made your selection, click 'Restore Selected Files' in the top right. It will then ask whether you want to overwrite the existing files, encrypt the transmission (selected by default and recommended not to uncheck), or restore to alternate location. Then click OK and your restore will be added to the queue and you will see a progress bar.
