Coming soon: GLOBAL CRISIS II: The Second World War
|
We've all seen advanced rules and expansion sets for the original Axis & Allies® (i.e., the 1984 version from Milton Bradley, not the 2004 version from Wizards of the Coast). However, I consider this to be the most comprehensive one so far. As I explain more fully in the designer's notes, I have tried to include every major element of war which the leaders of the various major powers were forced to reckon with when planning long-term global strategy, while the leaders' lesser concerns have been abstracted accordingly.
Another reason I consider this to be a superior expansion is because it requires no extra units, pieces, or counters, nor is any coloring or repainting necessary. The components which came with Axis & Allies® and the information provided here are all that is needed to play Global Crisis.
The items presented here are intended to be printed in the order listed so as to produce a Global Crisis rule book which wholly replaces the Axis & Allies® rule book. Before printing, however, I recommend setting the margins to the minimum possible.
These are somewhat lengthy documents, so you might want to read this summary of contents first to see what is included in Global Crisis.

To create a rule book, I recommend putting the printed sheets into clear plastic sheet protectors and then placing them into a standard 3-ring binder.
