The Utah Valley Chamber recognizes Lee Livingston, CFO of Fibernet Corp., with invitation to join the Board of Directors.
Orem, UT Lee Livingston, CFO of Utah's leading Internet and Colocation service provider, Fibernet Corp., was honored recently when he was asked to serve on the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The offer, extended by Chamber President Steve Densley, comes on the heels of Fibernet's receiving the 2009 Chamber Chairman's Award issued in June of this year, an award given in recognition of Fibernet's contribution to the Chamber and the local business community.
The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce, formerly the Provo/Orem Chamber, recently changed its focus to encompass all of Utah County, hence its new name. Mr. Livingston said of the invitation to join the newly formed Chamber, "It is quite an honor to be selected. In serving on the Board, I hope to play a significant role in the continued success of the Chamber and its impact on Utah Valley business."
In accepting the offer, Mr. Livingston joins such prominent local figures as Jon Anderson of Commerce CRG, Aaron Garrity of XanGo, and Matt Bowman of Novell, to name only a few.
As a future member of the board, Mr. Livingston will take part in the coordination and planning of Chamber functions as it continues to promote the lasting wealth and success of Utah's economic backbone, the local business community.
