Fibernet Employees Attend Utah Hiring Summit

Fibernet Corp. sent the Human Resources department to gain insight on making the hiring process more efficient.

Orem, UT Fibernet Corp, a Utah-based provider of dedicated hosting, colocation, and cloud hosting, was represented at the ApplicantPro’s Utah Hiring Summit on July 18, 2013 by HR reps Rachel Hockema and Cathi Spence. The Summit was designed to help local businesses streamline their interviewing and hiring processes, and included a keynote address by former Utah Jazz player Mark Eaton.

Human resource departments from various Utah businesses attended the Summit to learn more about reducing hiring risk, interviewing efficiently, and the best places to list open job postings. Mark Eaton discussed “The Four Commitments of a Winning Team.” Other guest speakers included Ryan Kohler, John Howard, Ken Frei, and Daniel Westel.

“We appreciate any opportunity to learn more about efficient hiring processes, especially from local experts in their fields,” said Fibernet CEO Lane Livingston. “It’s important to Fibernet to gain the best information possible, establish relationships in our community, and to continue delivering the best service to our customers. This summit was very helpful for those reasons.”

Fibernet employees Rachel Hockema and Cathi Spence enjoyed their experiences at the Summit, and hope their new knowledge will bring continued success to Fibernet Corp.
