Earlier this year, we participated in Utah’s annual Big Business and Technology Expo at the UCCU Center. Visitors at our booth got the chance to sign up for a workshop and data center tour and were automatically entered in a drawing to win a prize.
One lucky participant, Brad Mertz, was awarded the prize this week, a Kindle Fire. Mertz is a BYU alumnus and current Development Director for UVU’s Woodbury School of Business, and was one of many who had the opportunity to see the inner workings of Fibernet Corp’s data center, complete with a tour and a presentation regarding the data center’s security and redundancy.
Bretton Lind, who led the workshops, said, “Meeting so many people involved in Utah Valley businesses was an enriching experience for me. As an educator, Brad Mertz is seeing the future of businesses in our local area. Fibernet Corp is committed to keeping up with what’s new in the business world, working to provide necessary services for local businesses.”
